Barcelona Fight Back to Beat Real Sociedad and Go Top of La Liga

Barcelona came from behind once again, this time edging out Real Sociedad 2–1 at the Olympic Stadium in the 7th round of La Liga. The victory lifts the Catalans to 19 points, sending them to the top of the table — one point clear of Real Madrid.
A major boost for Barça was the return of teenage star Lamine Yamal from injury. Making an immediate impact, the 17-year-old needed just a minute on the pitch to set up Robert Lewandowski’s decisive goal.
Falling behind has become a recurring theme for Xavi’s side this season. Just as they did against Levante and Oviedo, Barcelona overturned a deficit to claim all three points against Sociedad. Remarkably, the Blaugrana have already secured nine points from losing positions this campaign — more than any other club across Europe’s top five leagues.
